Cement damage repairs
When it comes to having your surface coated it’s always ideal that the area is in good condition, though most of the time that’s not the case. Our team can repair most cement damages with a durable patch job. Keep in mind that a patch won’t look like the original job, especially if you’re going to have the area painted. We repair different types of damages so I will list the ones we commonly don’t do unless you decide otherwise.
- Hairline cracks – These can be quite annoying to have but also tricky to work with. If you decide to have the area patched up on a hairline crack keep in mind that it may not hold well. Outside weathering, pressure or even just erosion can damage a repair very easily, it’s not the original cement so it won’t last forever. If it breaks off and it was already painted it could cause further damages to the area surrounding it (peeling, chipping etc…) And future damages won’t be covered under the warranty.
- Chipped/Broken corners – If you decide to patch a corner or a chipped off piece on the cement cut line, it has a high chance of breaking off in the future as those areas would take on a lot of pressure and not much to sustain the patch work. Will not be covered under warranty.
- Elevated block – Any elevated cement can be ground down to be sloped to avoid tripping or injury, if you have your whole driveway ground down then it will all match. Otherwise, if you don’t have it all ground down you will see a very noticeable shine difference when the area is painted because the cement will have a smoother texture to it.
Touch-ups
Let’s say you already have a painted surface, but down the line you or someone else drops something you shouldn’t have on the paint and now your design is smeared and ugly! Probably not getting a good look from the wife… No worries, our team is ready to handle mishaps like these. One of our guys will come to your home and evaluate the damage, price will be set due to size of the damage and cost of needed materials.
*NOTE: As capable as our team is, perfection is still impossible! Any touch-ups to old paint will look different due to it being newer application and if we have to try and match the colors if you don't have the original cans or codes*
Moving Furniture
So, the big day is finally here and you’re getting your garage/lanai done. Congrats! But now you have to move some pretty heavy stuff, we can help with that. Were more than happy to help you move some things around if needed. If you require us to move a large number of things you may be charged a moving fee. At the completion of the job a few days after we can come back and help you move your things back in with no further charges. (Only during weekdays, the sealer will take 3-4 days to fully cure. You may have to wait through the weekend).
Re-Sealers
Let’s seal the deal! Give us a call for an in-person quote to evaluate the surface. If you require a touch-up as well that will be a separate cost. After we set a day to come out, we will power wash the surface area then come back the following day to apply the sealer. Finally, you want to give the area 3-4 days to cure before you put any vehicles or furniture back. You are able to walk on the area of about one hour after it being sealed.
